This happens when a teacher creates and assigns the DT for his students but before they could start solving it the teacher decides to delete the test because he detected that the assignment was wrongly configured (start/end dates, student selection, assignment name, etc).
When trying to assign the DT again the list of students will appear disabled because the platform has detected an assignment in progress (even though it has been deleted), therefore, you must wait until the original due date happens; i.e. if the assignment that was deleted had as due date March 30, 2024 you must wait until that date expires to be able to perform the assignment again.
